Jacquelyn Wills, Funeral Home Manager / Funeral Director & Embalmer

Jacquelyn is dedicated to serve. The native Washingtonian was educated in D.C. public schools, inducted in the Society of Distinguished American High School Students, and graduated from The University of the District of Columbia. She is family-oriented and loves food, swimming, cycling and reading English literature. Jacquelyn also is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and Reid Temble A.M.E. Church.

Laverne C. Ross, Pre-Planning Specialist

Laverne has been licensed in D.C., Maryland and Virginia as a planner since 2008. She feels her work is her ministry, and enjoys being in the community daily to educate people on the benefits of advance planning through seminars, health fairs, expos, and more. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and serves as a Volunteer Ombudsman in Maryland.

Henry Crutchfield, Funeral Attendant

Henry has assisted with services at Cedar Hill since 2011. He is a resident of Clinton, where he attends church. He was born in Pittsburgh, but grew up in Camp Springs. He attended Surrattsville High School and completed two years at Bowie State University. Has has a puppy, a close-knit family, and enjoys basketball and riding dirt bikes.

Clarence Chambers, Funeral Attendant

Since 2007, Clarence has helped comfort families during services at Cedar Hill. He has lived in Landover for more than 20 years and is a member of Friendship Baptist Church and mentors youth groups through the Masonic lodge.

Allen Latney, Funeral Attendant

Allen joined Cedar Hill in February 2010 and enjoys the interaction with the families that are served by the funeral home. He returned to his native Washington, D.C., after he retiring from Verizon. He grew up in Maryland and attended H.D. Woodson High School. His hobbies include photography.
